Write my own tinyOS in Rust: Part 1 - Fight against LLVM

Current Work

I'm a Firmware/Software Engineer at Optimon, working on firmware development mainly in C and Rust on multitasking systems such as FreeRTOS and Embassy.
My work includes writing drivers, handling data transmission and data reception from the back-end platform.

Personal projects

Rivulus - DataFrames Query Engine

Building a toy query engine to learn algorithms and data structures for data processing, focusing on hardware optimizations like caching, vectorization, and multithreading. Currently implementing the new engine with proper data structures for performance optimization.

Floatter

Started with 2 colleagues at University of Genoa. A network of buoys that monitor water quality (salinity, pH, temperature, waves) controlled by a web app. Built the firmware and backend (Node.js) with MQTT communication and REST APIs.

Th3Bugg3d

A project started with a friend, based on many social platforms, that aims to introduce italian teenagers to the power and charm of computer science.
